Long Description

This is a 1985 A-scow that was completely re-constructed, inside and out, in 2003 by Bill Mattison and Lon Schoor. Everyone knows Bill's reputation and this boat is as good as new.

If you want a truly great A-scow that is very solid and stiff -- and fast too, take a look at H-714. You will not be wasting your time to see this racing yacht.

Includes trailer and sails. This yacht is ready to race and highly customized for better racing results:

·         The cockpit has been widened and lengthened for more room to work
·         Deck lowered several inches around the cockpit with rounded cockpit edges for hiking comfort
·         Carbon rebuilt trusses forward of the board boxes for added strength and stiffness
·         Multi layers of carbon fiber reinforcement for the aft located chainplates for the sweptback spreader rig
·         The hull and deck were faired with a longboard, coated with Gougeon and finished with Emeron paint, then buffed and polished
·         A carbon vang is integrated into the boom
·         The transom was rebuilt to be very light and strong with a custom look
·         Jib wells removed and deck rebuilt for a modern jib sheeting arrangement
·         New ring frames were built and additional ones added as well. Ring frames were added under the deck in the mast area for addition structural integrity and stiffness
·         Bulkheads added behind the boardboxes for strength and stiffness, and modified to have no standing water behind the trunks.
·         New leeboards in 2003
·         Carbon mast and boom painted with white Emeron
